Baptist minister, Don Pipper was driving his small Ford on his way home from a conference in Texas. A truck crossed the center line and hit him head-on. The medical response team checked for life in his mangled body, but there was no pulse, and one look at the broken and bloody body confirmed that he was dead. But, he wasn't. Another minister came upon the scene and asked the policeman in charge if he could pray for the man in the car with the tarp covering his body. He was given permission, and a miracle happened. Don Pipper awoke singing, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus"! It would take two years of intense rehab before Don could tell his story of his experience in heaven. I read the book in less than two hours. There were some familiar themes, and a few surprises. I recommend the book! Reading Pipper's testimony made me re-evaluate my readiness for eternity.
